What is a brand?
When a person hears the name of your company or organization, they have some kind of emotional response. This response is formed by the culture and effort of your work. The Nike swoosh isn’t in an of itself magic, but what it represents definitely is.
So when you being the process of marketing, you have to be able to tell your story in it’s entirety. Ordering a logo and business cards is not enough by itself. Think on these questions:
Where do you want your business to be in a month? 6 months? a year? five years?
What is the story you want to tell your clients through your actions and attitude?
What are your personal assets you bring to the table that no one else can?
Prepare a writing sample in the voice you’d like ot use when marketing your brand.
