GameLab gathers students in a “brave space” where they play board games that challenge social/cultural norms while strengthening their Executive Skill set. The gaming experience is evaluated, reviewed, and expanded with new artwork, game expansions, and storylines. Students evaluate the entire experience for insight that translates into everyday life, connect to each other, unplug from technology, and think creatively and critically. It is intended as an afterschool program with a secondary student audience.
