Game pastor Training: Alpha Test

The Game Pastor is a pastoral caregiver who blends the methods of non-anxious, unconditionally positive presence with the mechanics and environment of gaming culture through simulations found in board games, tabletop role-playing games, video games, and play.

The Game Pastor training program is made possible by a grant from the Episcopal Evangelism Society. The intention of this program is to identify, train, and make confident practitioners who are willing to engage the Other in radical hospitality, equality, and respect. These “Game Pastors” will then be invited to join a weekend-long Game event in Winchester, TN in October 2024. The period of free Alpha testing is from the first post to February 15, 2024.
